It sounds like college isn't for you. You tried and found out that that's not what you should be doing, so you shouldn't feel bad about it. There are plenty of labor jobs or service management jobs that allow you to work your way up a career ladder without a college degree (you could also consider a two year degree).

Additionally, the marines sounds like a good option for you, lots of people are happy they joined because they can get an education and job placement just with the field experience. The jobs may be more limited, but who cares how much money you make or where you have to live if you can be happy. Life is not about following other people's goals, it's about finding a place where you feel comfortable.
