Why does it cost more to adopt a kitten than a cat?

What's the reason for it costing more to adopt a kitten rather than a cat?

1 Answer

Required newborn immunizations and higher adoption fees for kittens are costly. Adult cats have developed immune systems and do not require the newborn veterinary care and often have reduced adoption fees due to age.
