Is it safe to store batteries in a ziploc bag?

Yes, you can store batteries in ziploc bags. However, it's much better to store batteries in a battery organizer for at home storage.

If you are traveling, the TSA recommends the following:
"Place each battery in its own protective case, plastic bag, or package, or place tape across the battery's contacts to isolate terminals. Isolating terminals prevents short-circuiting."
