Stores in Japan began selling the Nintendo 3DS on Saturday, Febuary 26, 2011. The European Nintendo 3DS release date is scheduled for March 25, 2011, two days before the U.S. release date. The official drop date to purchase a Nintendo 3DS gaming system in the U.S. is March 27, 2011.
