What type of cat litter should I use in the litter box for my cat?

Selecting the right litter product is a matter of preference. Traditional clay based litter is the most popular, but must be changed more often than clumping litter. For greater odor control a crystal type litter is ideal but some cats will refuse to use it because of the lumpy nature and urine that puddles at the bottom of the box. Try out a few different types, and discover what your cat likes and you like the best.
