The generic equivalent of Heartgard Plus can be bought in the following forms:

- Tri-Heart Plus
- Iverhart Plus

Both are branded generic alternatives to Heartgard Plus. They should be interchangeable as long as the doctor does not indicate on the prescription "dispense as written".
