How much do tattoos typically cost?

Essentially, what's the average price of a tattoo? Do tattoos vary significantly in price depending on the size of the tattoo and the artist...?

1 Answer

The cost of a tattoo really depends on a lot of different factors such as the size and detail of the tattoo, the experise of the tattoo artist, geographical location of the tattoo shop, and whether or not they created the design from scratch. You can figure to pay about 100 dollars an hour on average. A really small tattoo may cost less than that, while a large tatto may be in the $1,000s.
