You can do it with the Listen app. You can subscribe to podcasts from your Android phone, but it's much easier to do so on a PC. Once you selected your subscriptions, open Listen in your Android device, and select "My listen items."

I believe the Listen app is being discontinued by Google.

You can try using the Doggcatcher app for an alternative. http://www.doggcatcher.com/
