How to Make Meatballs for Spaghetti

Here's a really great recipe on how to cook meatballs for spaghetti or pasta:

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons milk
  • 3/4 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • Dash of hot pepper sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • (optional) 1/2 teaspoon angostura bitters

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix the ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, egg and onion together in a mixing bowl
  3. Season with salt and garlic salt. Then add pepper, thyme, oregano and bitters. Finally add the hot pepper sauce. 
  4. Mix everything to blend the flavors together.
  5. Lightly pat and shape mixture into small meat balls and put them on cooking sheet.
  6. Cook meatballs in a 350 degree preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes (until meatballs are browned).
