How to Make Italian Turkey Meatballs


A healthy alternative to making meatballs that use ground beef, is to make ground turkey meatballs instead.  Below you'll find all the ingredients you need to make tasty Italian Turkey meatballs.  Just follow the directions and in no time you'll have cooked up some very tasty ground turkey meatballs!


  • 1 pound turkey, grounded
  • 1/3 cup Onions, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs (fine)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesean cheese (grated)
  • 1/3 cup Mozella cheese (shredded)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Oregano
  • dash of Tyme


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Combine the ground turkey and all the other ingredients in a large bowl.  
  3. Form the meatballs with your hands and place on a baking pan.
  4. Bake on a non-stick pan or greased pan for about 20 minutes in 350 degree oven. (If you want, turn the meatballs over after 10 minutes to brown on bothsides)
  5. Serve these turkey meatballs with your favorite pasta and sauce. You may also have them as an appetizer with a dipping sauce.

This recipe will make about 16 turkey meatballs.
