Why does my kitten have hiccups?

Is it normal for kittens to have hiccups? How do I stop these hiccups?

It is very likely that what you may think is a hiccup is actually a cough. Cats in general and kittens in particular are extremely susceptible to infections and diseases. In some cases, these infections can even be brought about by stress. The safest route to take might be a trip to the vet just so you can find out what exactly is wrong and get the appropriate prescription for it.
