If properly insulated, what should an unfinished (or finished) basement temperature be, when compared to my first floor of a home? I'd like to find out if I'm loosing a lot of heat from my basement, and those spending more on heating and cooling costs. My basement temperature is 70 degrees, while my first floor is 80 degrees, after the air conditioner has been on. The outside temp is 80.
