What is the best backpack to buy while travelling abroad staying in hostels for an extended period of time?

I would recommend you take a look at the Dakine Guide backpack. It's a great backpack that is large enough to hold what you need while backpacking abroad, but it's not too large where you might feel like your overwhelmed by the size of the back pack.
