Should I neuter or spay my dog?

What are the reasons as to why I should neuter or spay my dog? Will it harm my dog in any way?

Unless you are a qualified breeder, it is in your dog’s best interest to undergo neutering or spaying, whichever applies. Research has shown that dogs that undergo these procedures have a significantly lower chance of developing life-threatening reproductive health conditions and problematic behavioural issues. Unless your dog’s health is at risk, spaying or neutering will not harm your dog in any way.
