My cat keeps shaking and scratching at his head, why?

A cat's behavior is his/her way of communicating with you. Common cause of shaking and scratching can be ear mites, objects in the ear canal, or a food allergy. Try cleaning the ear with an ear cleanser available at your local pet store.
