Everything else on my Iphone works with the LTE connection except messenger. Is there a setting I'm not aware of?
Answer Question
No, if your referring to iMessage on iPhone, it will work on Cellular connection or WiFi.
Make sure iMessage is turned on... On your iphone tap on: Settings -> then tap on "Messages" -> then make sure "iMessage" is turned ON and also make sure "Send as SMS" is turned ON, so that you can SMS when iMessage is unavailable. Keep in mind iMessage does require a data connection, but since you have an iPhone you should have a Data plan for iMessage to work. Also keep in mind, iMessage will work even if you don't have an SMS text messaging plan. I know this because I currently do NOT have an SMS Texting plan and I'm still able to send text messages through iMessage to other friends and family with iPhones. But iMessage does not send texts to people with Android phones, and if you try you'll get "Message failed to be sent" Hope that helps.
If not, you may need to contact your carrier to see why it's not working...
Or else, try turning your iPhone off and restarting it to see if that fixes the issue.
