What does a Veterinary Hospital charge to get blood work done on a Cat?

I recently had to get blood work done on my cat for an upcoming surgery and discovered that it would cost around $150 just for the blood work ($200 Total - including the exam). The cost of the blood work was as follows:

  • Total Health Plus (Chem 27/CBC/T4) = $142.05
  • Bio-Hazardous Waste Disposal = $2.85
  • Examination - Wellness Feline = $57.85
