Can someone see/read facebook msg and sender not know?

I sent 2 messages to a friend plus posted on her timeline. While her phone icon shows up it does not show when she was active last. Also
She has not posted on her FB. Is it possible she is just ignoring me? She still shows up on my friend list and her phone number is on the messenger list so I could call her. Thanks

Yes, she could have seen your facebook message sent to her via email, and just hasn't clicked on the message within facebook yet. So in all likelihood she's seen your message, but has not wanted to respond right away. Many people take a day or sometimes much longer to respond to messages, so just because they haven't responded to your message within a few hours or a day, doesn't necessarily mean they are ignoring your message. So just be patient, and if she wants to respond she will.
