How to Stock Your Home Bar for a Party (Full Bar Beverage List)

The following beverage list will allow you to serve an open bar for a party with around 20 guests. Although it ultimately will depend entirely on how much your guests drink, but overall this should be a good beverage list to start off with.

  • 750-ml bottle of bourbon
  • 750-ml bottle blended Scotch
  • 750-ml bottle blended Canadian whisky
  • 2 (bottles) - 750-ml bottles London Dry Gin
  • 2 (bottles) - 750-ml bottles vodka
  • 1 or 2 (bottles) - 750-ml of liqueurs, like amaretto, Irish cream, Benedictine, Chambord, Frangelico (or something else your guests like)
  • 750-ml bottle dry vermouth
  • 750-ml bottle sweet vermouth
  • 4 to 6 750-ml bottles dry white wine
  • 4 to 6 750-ml bottles dry red wine
  • 24 (to 48) 12-fl-oz (355-ml) bottles beer
  • 1 liter lemon-lime soda
  • 2 liters cola
  • 2 liters diet cola
  • 6 12-fl-oz (355-ml) or smaller bottles ginger ale
  • 12 12-fl-oz (355-ml) or smaller bottles tonic water
  • 4 liters club soda
  • 2 liters still mineral water
  • 2 quarts orange juice
  • 1 quart cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1 quart grapefruit juice
  • 1 quart tomato juice
  • 20 to 30 pounds ice cubes or crushed
