How much information about myself do I have to share on Facebook?

How much personal information do I have to share on Facebook? Am I obliged to do this?

The only information that is mandatory to fill out on Facebook are first name, last name, birthday, gender and e-mail address. Providing additional information about yourself and your interests is entirely optional.
