Driving with an expired driver's license?

What could happen if you are driving with an expired license and get pulled over? Or get into an accident while your drivers license is expired?

Driving with an expired license is illegal and you will face a penalty if you get pulled over. Penalties for driving with an expired license may include a ticket for $30 to over $250 (depending on how long your license has been expired). Keep in mind penalties for driving with an expired license will vary by State and county jurisdiction.

You will face serious penalties with the law if you do so. That is another thing if the cops don't find out, but it is not advisable to drive on a suspended license or expired license. You can renew it easily from your local DMV.
