Can I stop people from commenting on or ‘liking’ my Facebook posts?

Is there any way I can disable commenting on or ‘liking’ my posts? Where do I go to do this?

Commenting can be disabled by clicking on “Account” at the upper right hand corner of the home page and clicking on “Privacy Settings” under that. From there, click on “Customise settings” at the bottom of the page (just above “Block lists”) and look for the heading that says “Things others share”. From there, you will see a setting that says “Permission to comment on your posts”. You can decide whether you wish to give everyone, friends of friends, or friends only permission to comment on your posts.
