Will i lose my american express points if i cancel my amex credit card?

If you cancel all of your American Express Cards, the unused points in your account can be redeemed within a certain time frame, usually up to 60 days after the date of cancellation. If you retain at least one Card which is enrolled in the Membership Rewards program, your points will be unaffected.
