How do I shut down my computer when it stops working and is not responding?

To completely turn off and shut down a computer that is not responding, try holding down the computer's Power button for 5 to 10 seconds. The computer should turn off.

If that doesn't work you could alway just unplug the power cord, but that's probably not the greatest way to turn the computer off.
