Why does my cat keep vomiting up its food?

Is my cat sick? Should I change its food?

It is possible that your cat simply does not like the food that it is being fed or that the food it is being fed is upsetting its stomach.

It's also possible that your cat is not getting feed often enough. If you feed your cat twice a day, and your cat gorges on its food, it may eat too much food, too quickly and then throw it up, because it can not hold all the food down. I would recommend getting an automatic cat feeder and set it for every 6 to 12 hours, so your cat is able to eat whenever it wants, instead of whenever you feed it.

If try changing its food, and feeding it more often, and that still does not work, take your cat to the vet to make sure it doesn’t have a disease or infection.
