Kayak is set to Debut on Friday morning, July 20, 2012 at $26 a share on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol "KYAK

Kayak Software Corp. said late Thursday it will launch on the Nasdaq exchange Friday at $26 a share, higher than the range of $22 to $25 it had initially announced.

Under the ticker symbol KYAK, the company will issue 3.5 million shares, with a possible overage of up to 525,000 additional shares.

The initial offering brings public about 9 percent of the company, which is valued at about $1 billion.
