When I send Message on FB messenger to someone in WY, what time will show up? will it be WY time or my time which is MI time?

I'm talking to someone in Cheyenne, WY ( I think ), when I send my message a time will appear, is that my time? I thought this persons time will appear upon receipt, i'm I wrong?

The time zone you see on posts and messages, will be based on your own Facebook account settings (not that of your Facebook friends).
