The biggest sport in the United States is American Football (NFL - National Football League). College football is also very big. While in the past, baseball was considered to be the biggest sport in the U.S., in recent years football has made it to the top without question.

The emergence of Fantasy Football has also led to NFL football garnering even more attention in the last ten years. This is due to the fact that, people who play fantasy football tend to pay closer attention to more teams (rather than just their home NFL team) in order to make sure their fantasy football teams does well.
