If you say it in a text, it means freaking the f*ck out whereas if its in a chatroom and someone says it in an angry manner, it means f*ck the f*ck off

I'm an old timer and out of date with "modern" slang but when I was in the military in the '60s-'70s when we said FTFO it meant Figure the F***king Odds meaning something was quite unlikely to take place.
