Gangnam Style is a song of the South Korean musician PSY released in July 2012. It is the most watched video on YouTube, the first online video that reached a billion hits. See video here.

Its title, Gangnam Style refers to a lifestyle associated with the trendy Gangnam District of the Korean capital, Seoul. The song itself is a parody as Gangnam Style is supposed to be a high class living style while everything in the video is far from being high class. Its a kind of social critique of people who adore wealthy living.
