How do I create a group on Facebook?

How do I go about creating a group on Facebook? What are the specific steps I need to take?

You can create a group by clicking on “Create group” on the left hand corner of the news feed page. The button is found above “App requests” and below “Friends”. From there, you will be required to pick out a group name, invite members and decide on privacy settings.
