Everyone loves chocolate chip cookies!
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup (2 sticks) softened butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degree F.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
- In a large bowl, combine butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla and with wooden spoon, stir until creamy, then beat in eggs.
- Gradually add sifted dry ingredients from the small bowl to the large bowl. Mix together well.
- Add in chocolate chips and stir mixture.
- Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake in 375 degree F oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Remove from cookie sheet and let cool for 10 minutes.
Recipe makes roughly 32 chocolate chip cookies.
