It is possible that your cat is simply too young and new at being a mother and therefore, inexperienced. Try taking her and her kitten to the vet to see what advice the doctor can give you. For the meantime, you can pick up kitten replacement formula at the store and bottle feed the kitten yourself. Kittens don’t have the means to regulate their own body temperature at a young age so it is essential that you keep it warm and make sure it is fed regularly as it can easily starve and dehydrate.
