The 2014–15 NBA season will be the 69th season of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The regular season will begin on Tuesday, October 28, 2014, with three games on tap.

  • Orlando Magic vs. New Orleans Pelicans (8:00 PM ET)
  • Dallas Mavericks vs. San Antonio Spurs (8:00 PM ET)
  • Houston Rockets vs. Los Angeles Lakers (10:30 PM ET)

The first regular season game is slated for Tuesday, October 28. The San Antonio Spurs will play the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James.

The regular season will continue through April 15, 2015

Preseason games begin on October 4 and run through Friday, October 24.
