Teeth whitening is not permanent. Depending how much you expose your teeth to foods and beverages that causes stains, you may see the whiteness begin to fade away in as quick as 1 month. However, if you avoid foods and beverages that stain your teeth, you may able to go 1 year or more before having to have a touch-up or another whitening treatment. It's recommended to touch-up your teeth when you begin to notice the whitening start to fade, so you don't have to go in for another full whitening treatment.

How long teeth will stay white, will depend a lot on the individual and the condition of teeth, nature of the stains, and the type of bleaching system that is used (and for how long).
