How can I tell if my cat is pregnant?

What are the particular signs or symptoms I should look out for to be certain if my cat is pregnant? How can I take care of her at this stage?

Pregnant cats have pink nipples and are in search of an isolated place for themselves. Pregnant cats also gain a steady amount of weight throughout their pregnancy. Take her to the vet for a check-up just to make sure everything’s going as it should be and so your vet can teach you the appropriate steps you can take to make sure your cat’s pregnancy is as safe and comfortable as possible.
