How accurate is Fedex estimated delivery?

Just wondering if Fedex estimated delivery is accurate. I have a package that is supposed to arrive today according to the Fedex estimate, but for some reason I have a feeling it might not get here until tomorrow, since I haven't seen the arrival scan yet for the package. What's your experience been with the accuracy of Fedex delivery estimates?

Well my suspicion was correct.... The Fedex package did NOT arrive today, it actually just arrived at a FedEx location about 50 minutes from me at 8:02pm. Now the FedEx estimated delivery date has changed to May 21, 2010, so it appears I'll be getting my package a day late from the original estimate.
