Can I feed my cat human food?

Is it safe to feed my cat human food? What are some foods that I should keep away from it?

Cats are carnivorous in nature. This means that it is a necessity to have meat in their diet. There is no harm in feeding your cat small portions of chicken and fish. Some human foods that present dangers to cats are milk, green tomatoes, green potatoes, chocolate, onions and garlic.
