This is our second Walk Right harness. Our little buddy is a 18 lb Havanese so he doesn’t need a big heavyweight harness. The size small is a perfect fit. We wanted to be sure his harness will keep him safely secure without putting any pressure points on sensitive areas. It must further be easy to put on and not cause any restrictions or rubbing points for walking. This harness meets all of those requirements. It further has the option of two harness points for two degrees of leash control. I have not needed to use the higher control point but I am sure it will help if he was pulling and hard to control.

| Directions | Visually estimate and adjust the harness to the dog's girth size. With the mesh pad facing down and the buckles unfastened, place the dog's head through the loop. You will then bring the free straps behind the dog's front legs and fasten both buckles. At this time, ensure two fingers fit between the product and your dog at the neck and girth and that the adjustments are even for maximum comfort and control. Disappointed
We had the harness for nine months. Our 25 pound cockapoo broke the snap on the harness while rolling. Disappointed, as the quality seemed high. We had to purchase a cheap replacement on our trip so we could continue hiking.

I love this harness, I originally got one at at pet store. It adjusted perfectly for my French Bullbog. I think the clasp on the size small too small! So I made the mistake of letting him grab his leash and harness, he broke the clasp with his big mouth, (my fault) I tried to replace this with something else and every other harness that had the same option to use the chest or back loop for a leash would not fit him, was very expensive and too much material, I found the same one I purchased on Amazon for 1/2 the price! I am sure not to let him grab it now and he does not have to wear the larger harnesses that overheat's him! It is perfect to walk him in, the clasp is very sturdy for walking, just not chewing, again my fault. FYI he is 21 lbs thin for his breed so a size small was the only option, he pulls and this harness will not give in, it is as strong as he is.
