You get what you pay for.
This is a perfectly fine phone case if you're looking for something that looks sleek, and you don't have high expectations about the level of protection you'll get for your phone. It lasted about 6 months for me, with very average use. I'm not a person that drops my phone a whole lot, so the wear and tear (and cracking) that you see in my photos is pretty representative of the quality of the product. I just bought another one of these, because I like the way it looks and feels, and the fact that it stays on my phone without ever popping off, yet wasn't a nightmare to remove like some cases are. Bottom line, you are absolutely getting what you pay for when you buy this $9 case.

    This case is everything I had hoped a case could be. I have been very disappointed with other supposed slim cases and their claims of how much additional size they add.

    1. The case is refreshingly slim and adds just enough extra size to be protective. I have dropped my phone a few times with the case on and the corners protected the phone perfectly. The front has a slight edge to protect the screen as well.

    2. The case has "cut outs" along the back edge at all of the buttons and ports. This makes utilizing the buttons from the back of the phone (with the hand that is carrying the device) very easy and you do you have to reach into a groove of any kind.

    3. The color is beautiful and coordinates well with the gold iPhone.

    4. The case fits "snuggly." I saw other reviews that commented on the fit and I am not having any concerns from my experience. It feels firms and hugs the device.

    5. Perhaps I missed it in the ad but I also received a rigid-ish plastic screen protector. I have never used a screen protector as I have never cared for the feel and the installation never seemed to go well. For whatever reason I decided to try this one and not only did it install easily but it feels great and is not noticeable.

    So far, I am very pleased with all aspects of Ringke's product and this includes their eco-packaging.

    If you are looking for a case to protect from scratches on your phone, I would definitely recommend this case. But if you are looking for a case to protect it from shock absorbancy (such as dropping it) I'd get an otterbox.

    I am very careful with my phone so I just needed something slim to protect it from scratches. This case is perfect. It doesn't feel like I have a case on at all! I have the white case on white phone, and it looks absolutely amazing!

    I read other reviews that the edge of the case near the volume buttons and screen was flimsy. I didn't think that was the case at all! I mean if you sit there and wiggle it to death, sure it could be flimsy. But it doesn't bother me bc I don't spend time messing with that edge. Also, you really have to force it bc the case is a super tight fit.

    One of my concerns for the case was if it would get dirty quickly since it was white. I stick my phone in my pockets constantly and thought it would be an issue. I have had this case for over a month now and no, it did not get as dirty as I anticipated! It's actually very new looking still!

    If you are looking for something to protect your phone from scratches, this case is for you! It's well worth the money and I have no regrets about this purchase!

    I would love to see that the white case be made in the soft feeling case like the black one. That would be the ultimate case!

    I've had this case for just about 2 years, and for something so inexpensive and simple I really love it! When I got my iPhone, I was looking for a case that would protect my phone without the inconvenience of bulkiness. This really does the trick. I've dropped my phone countless times on many different surfaces, and I don't even have a scratch on my screen.

    Even though I really like this case, I'm giving it 4 stars because of two issues I've had. First off, there are some fragile parts, most notably the small strip of plastic next to the volume control area. That part has broken off my case, which isn't hugely inconvenient for me, as I've gotten a lot of mileage out of this case. The second issue is that this case leaves the area around the top and bottom exposed (which makes sense given its slimness). So even though my screen doesn't have a lot of cracks, the metal of the phone itself does have some tiny nicks.

    Overall, I think this is a pretty good deal, considering that phone cases tend to be pretty expensive and unnecessarily bulky. It will last you a while and provide good protection. However, if you are concerned about the exposed top or bottom, you may want to look for another case

    I've owned this slim case for about six months (or more) now, and I have to conclude based on my first-hand experience that it is quite possibly the best slim case I've ever owned (and I've owned over a dozen).

    Why is it the best?

    1. It is white, and it has not yellowed or taken on any other color.
    2. It protected my phone from slight falls twice with no damage to the phone.
    3. It hasn't lost it's shape or begun to warp, so it still has a firm hold on the phone which reduces rubbing/marring of the phone's finish in the brushed/frosted aluminum areas.
    4. The cost of this case was negligible, but it keeps performing and performing.
    5. It's thin enough that it doesn't add bulk, yet it has enough to protect the phone.
    6. Doesn't look cheap and doesn't detract from the looks of the phone.
    7. It doesn't affect the fall of my suit jacket.

    Are there cons?

    1. No screen protection (but I don't use screen protection)
    2. Not a ruggedized case (can't throw it across the floor and expect the phone to be alright)
    3. Not waterproof/environment proof (keep this thing out of water, mud, and sand)

    It's an elegant case that I would expect Archer would use if he used an iPhone. Which he doesn't.
