    Dropped my iphone twice, once on concrete and once on asphalt. Phone survived both hits without incident. The case has little cracks where it hit. Some my think the case cracking is a bad thing, but hey I dont care if the case breaks as long as the phone doesn't! Just bought another one just like it to replace this one. Pro: protected my phone for 2 heavy duty drops circle in back makes it easier to get phone out, although very snug fit and still hard to remove very slim fitting and with white iphone, the white case looks like the phone. Con: they raised the price on the white one!

      I ordered this case on short notice when my iPhone 5 arrived much more quickly than expected. The case arrived 2 days later in very good condition.

      I had spent a lot of time looking over the wide assortment of cases and ended up ordering this one because it was a minimalist design but still protective, it came with a screen protector and a film protector for the logo on the back, and it was quite inexpensive. For the price I wasn't sure what I would get but so far I am very happy with the case. It looks good, let's my phone look good, and I already dropped my phone out of my pocket onto the tile floor without any damage.

      Now I'm thinking of ordering another one in a different color!!

      With the limited number of choices of quality iPhone 5 cases, I decided I would buy this as a temporary case until better options come out. It was a nice surprise when I received a fairly good case with some minor issues.

      The case is a fairly hard but somewhat flexible glossy plastic and its thin. I got the white one which is nearly impossible to see any fingerprints on. That may be due to the color more than anything else. Its easy to put the iPhone into the case and there is good coverage on the sides. Much poorer coverage on the top and bottoms. But the corners do have some protection should you drop it. The Side buttons line up nicely in the case but the apple logo cutout is not cut correctly so the Apple logo sits slightly to the lower right. A little annoying but meh, oh well. The phone sits well in the case and is tight to the phone.

      The case comes with a mini microfiber cloth which looks as cheap as you would expect. It also comes with a film for the screen and a little circular film to cover the Apple logo on the back. The film seems to be of a somewhat decent quality. My favorite films are the PowerSupport ones but they don't haven't released one for the iPhone 5 as of this review. The film that comes with case is no where near the quality of the PowerSupport films. (Not that I would expect it to be). But, its definitely better than what you would expect from an included accessory. Applying the film was easy, I did get some dust under the film which caused me to have some air bubbles but I do believe if I was more careful it could have installed on without air bubbles. Oh well, I still plan on upgrading to the PowerSupport ones when its released.

      In Summary, I would give the case 4.5 stars, the film 4 stars and the microfiber cloth 2 stars. For the entire package considering the early adopter penalties, I would give this a 4.5 star in value. If it had better coverage on the top and bottom of the phone, I would have given it 5 stars. But, I may stick with this one...

      Pretty happy with the purchase and considering it was one of the cheaper options at $17, a good value.

      UPDATE: A number of new cases has been released since my review. I wanted to add that the $30 Lightning/dock adapter does fit with this case. I changed then switched back to this case because of this.

      Te case fits great, looks sharp ad was exactly what I was looking for. My two complaints are

      1. The screen protector isn't that great (I've had it on for a week and there are already some marks and scratches in the film that shouldn't happen so easily).

      2. The first and only time I dropped my phone it hit the corner of the case, it protected the phone great but the case chipped a lot of paint for such a small drop. All in all I like the case but it definitely isn't the most durable available for those who use their phones a lot.

      I was desperate to get a case for my new white iPhone 5. Terribly disappointed when this thing arrived in the mail. It is basically a flimsy piece of molded hard plastic that will fit around the phone ok but does not offer much in terms impact protection. There is no bevel around screen, so if you drop the phone screen first then your prayer is as good as this piece of plastic! I will use it until better cases become available. If you are reading this review then I I would say look elsewhere.
