Was so excited to get my spanx - and, well, unfortunately it is so not the miracle worker i expected it to be. basically, this is the honest truth: if you're overweight, it 'aint gonna help much. i'm a size 12 and thought this would make me look like a 10. It doesn't. you're just really uncomfortable.
I had a pair when i was a size 4 and needed to smooth out a few lines and suck in my tummy a bit and, yes, it did the trick then. but at size 12, now, forget about it - the teeny weeny bit it helps just doesn't make the pain worth it.
