Reggie Bush was ruled by the NCAA to have received improper benefits while at USC. Apparentlly, he and his family received lavish gifts, ranging from a rent-free home to hotel stays, cash, transportation and clothing.
After a NCAA investigation in 2010 ruled he was ineligible to participate as a student-athlete at USC, Bush became the first player in the history of the Heisman Trophy to forfeit the award.
Bush is the first player in the 75-year history of the Heisman Trophy to forfeit the award.
