When is the official release date of Google Offers?

Google is preparing to launch Google Offers, the search giant’s Groupon competitor. When will Google Offers officially be released or will they launch in Beta to select cities/ users?

It appears that Google’s coupon service Offers, is now live as a Beta. Google Offers appears to be starting in in Portland, Oregon. However, you also have the ability to subscribe to deals in areas within New York City, Oakland and San Francisco.
