Tonight the Mets and the Cardinals played into the top of the 19th inning, when the visiting Mets finally scored. Is this the record for the most scoreless innings in MLB history?

The longest extra inning Major League Baseball game without a run was 23-1/2 innings when the New York Mets and the Houston Astros played each other on April 15, 1968.

The Astros finally won the game 1 to 0 in the bottom of the 24th inning with 1 out.
