Haiti has two official languages, that being French and Haitian Creole.

French is the language that mainly written and spoken in spoken schools, and used in the business sector, as well as spoken by most educated Haitians.

Haitian Creole is spoken by virtually the entire population (95% or about 8 million people) of Haiti. It's a French-based creole language that's largely a blend of French, as well as African languages (including some Arabic), some Spanish and Taíno, and increasingly English. It is the most widely spoken creole language in the world.
