As of 2011, the Dodge Tomahawk is considered to be the world's fastest motorcycle with a top speed of 350 mph (560 km/h). The Tomahawk motorcycle uses a 10-cylinder 90-degree V-type and can run on that speed because of the total power of 500 horsepower (370 kW) @ 5600 rpm (45 kW/L). This motorcycle also uses a 2 speed manual transmission. While the Dodge Tomahawk may be the world's fastest motorcycle, it's has a quite an unconventional motorcycle look to it.

The second fastest motorcycle is the Suzuki Hayabusa with a top speed of 248 mph (397 km/h) with total power of 197 horsepower (147 kW) @ 6750 rpm 147kW. Transmission system is using 6 speed with constant mesh.

If the Dodge Tomahwk can be considered a motorcycle (it has 4 wheels), then yes, it is the fastest motorcycle with the Suzuki Hayabusa and Honda Blackbird coming right behind it. Another motorcycle is the turbine powered Y2K which also joins the bandwagon.
