On average, it will probably cost between $150 and $200 in total to have your dog spayed or neutered by a vet.

I just had my dog neutered at my vet and it cost a total $185.90

Here are the costs for the neuter:
1 Neuter Canine, 20-60lbs: 137.00
1 Chemistry-Vetscan Preanesthetic P: $39.00 (Note: this was optional)
2.50 Carprofen Caplets 100mg: $9.90
