In general, a good credit score is 700 & above. Approximately 47% of Americans have a credit score of 720 or greater.
An excellent credit score is usually 750 to 850.
If your credit score is below 620 you should not expect to get a mortgage until your financial situation improves.
A bad credit score would between 300 to 550.
