Porsche Automobil Holding SE, usually shortened to Porsche SE is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury high performance automobiles, owned by the Piëch-Porsche family. Porsche SE is headquartered in Zuffenhausen, Germany, a city district of Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg.
Porsche SE has one main subsidiary – Porsche AG, which is responsible for the actual production and manufacture of the Porsche automobile line. The company is majority owned by Volkswagen AG, the parent company of the Volkswagen Group, which owns a 50% stake.
